ABOUT Alisa
Unexpected Changes Creates An Opportunity…
Everyone goes through unexpected changes in their lives: layoffs, relationships, medical challenges, etc. After people hear me speak on change, they will feel empowered in their own way forward, even when a change was not their choice, because my speech will help them build tools for resilience, find their power in life’s unexpected turns, and discover the vision for reinvention.
We are wired to interpret change as danger; unexpected changes often trigger a state of fight, flight, or freeze. From a shift in the day’s plan to something major - company restructuring, relationship change, serious illness... That makes it difficult to move forward, make decisions, or even function effectively. I have gone through all of that, often at the same time.
Navigating my son’s multiple open-heart surgeries, sudden spousal abandonment, and raising three sons alone while changing careers, obtaining additional degrees, and coaching a Colorguard team, I learned the potential of reinvention and the significance of the power you can develop through major life-changing events.
I have the tools to help you move through your own life changes, even when they were not your choice. Tools that would ease the panic, focus on your next steps, and help you move forward with more confidence and clarity. Tools to handle each new challenge. I teach you how to build resilience and use change to transform, personally and professionally, if you choose.
I help people discover resilience and reinvention when life upends the plan
After an audience hears me speak, they will understand that:
That they are capable not just of surviving change but growing because of it
They can choose their own response, even when the change did not start as theirs
That empathy and honesty are the secret sauce
From there, they can:
Find their own internal guide on what sparks joy and reprieve
Burn the old picture and start living a reimagined one
To choose what they want more of in their life
MY MOTTO
Even when a change is not your choice, you get to choose how to respond and what you want to create from there. If you choose, it’s an opportunity for growth.
